New Zealand - Martinborough

We tasted some local Martinborough white wine during our stay at Wharekauhau Country Estate, one of the beautiful New Zealand lodges. This beautiful luxury lodge is a working farm framed by the Remutaka Mountain Range on the North Islands’ south east coast near Martinborough with an easy walk to the black sand beach. We shared a meal at the long table with the handful of other guests staying at the Lodge, each night with the meal accompanied with wine from the nearby Martinborough region.
