Italy - Puglia

In May 2023, we stayed at the Vinilia Wine Resort in Manduria, Taranto. A beautiful renovated mansion that dates back to the early 1900s. One could be mistaken that the manor house was an old medieval castle, with its tower, turrets, and battlements. The grounds are extensive and amongst the vines are centuries old olive trees.  We tasted our first Apulian wines, from their Trullo di Pezza range, that have a number of native varieties. Their mantra is “the passion for well done things”.
