We received VIP passes to attend the OENORAMA 2025 held in the Zappeion Megaron Exhibition Hall in Athens. Each year the 3-day event attracts over 10,000 attendees, with 250 exhibitors and over 2,500 wines. The 2025 exhibition was focused on ’Wine Narratives, Vintages & Terroirs’. The VIP access gave us unlimited access to all of the sessions as well as to “The Wine Tasting Gallery’ that was divided into two sections, with one section focused on iconic Greek brands on the market for at least 20 years, whilst the other section was for ‘new’ wines. There was the opportunity to talk with the winemakers as well as a section that had a self-guided tasting, where you could self-pour wines that were of interest.
The “Wine Revelations Bar” featured low intervention wines and lesser- known Greek varieties, whilst The Wine Revelations Hall showcased the very small and debuting wineries for consumers and professionals looking for tomorrow’s stars. There was also a separate area, Oenotechnica, dedicated to vineyard and the winery supply chain. (2015)
