Australia - Barossa Valley, South Australia

The Barossa Valley is synonymous for iconic Australian red wine. It is world renowned and produces over 20% of Australia’s wine production. The ‘Barossa’ features over 150 wineries and 80 cellar doors and is predominantly known for its key varieties of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache.

Having previously done tastings / tours at some of the iconic wineries including Penfolds, on our most recent trip in October 2025 we visited Seppeltsfield Barossa Historic Winery Estate, that was established in 1851, and had their 4-course lunch paired with matching wines in the centennial cellar topped off with a tasting of their 100-year-old Tawny.
